He was born in 1959 in Tbilisi.
After receipt of General Certificate of Secondary Education in 1976, Dr. Kuparadze was admitted to the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (Faculty of geology and geography). In 1981 he graduate this faculty and obtain a diploma of the engineer-geologist.
At 1981-1998 he worked as a researcher of the Alexander Janelidze Geological Institute (Georgian National Academy of Sciences).
In 1982 he enter a PhD programme of Tbilisi State University and in 1986 Dr. Kuparadze with success passed Ph.D. defense.
1977-2001 he hold a senior role in the private sector. He was a vice-chairman of the supervisory council of the JSC "Lago" (Tobacco and Cigarette Company) and a chairman of the supervisory council of the JSC "Hareti".
In 2002-2005 he has a teaching activities at the Department of petrography and mineralogy of the Tbilisi State University.
In 2004-2006 he was the Deputy Director for Science of the Alexander Tvalchrelidze Caucasian Institute of Mineral Resources.
In 2006, the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia awarded Mr. Kuparadze the academic title of doctor of geology and mineralogy.
In 2007 together with partners he founded GSP Ltd Company. At the same time he was continuing scientific research at the Alexander Tvalchrelidze Caucasian Institute of Mineral Resources.
